Little off topic. I have started watching Stephen Yuen’s new show Beef. Sadly I am not liking it much. I am in the 4th episode and I don’t like any of characters and it seems really stupid to me. I hope it gets better. I am trying to stick it out. However the one thing I have taken from show is Stephen sings & plays Guitar. He completely blew my mind! One thing that is good about this show is they picked some really good songs. I think most of them are from 90’s. One that Stephen sings is one of my fav songs of all time. It’s Drive by Incubus. Go Ck it out if you haven’t heard it. Make sure you listen to 4 min video & not one from show. I was like, Are you telling me that when Dale gave Glenn that guitar he could have played & sang. Man! What a missed opportunity!

Don’t stress out about it James! I think you did the best you could do with what you had. Nothing is consistent in this show when it comes to timelines & locations. So there really is no way to be completely accurate. I appreciate all your hard work. I still think it is very beneficial and a great video! You deserve a pat on back!

I understand you are going by the show, but Rick and the Grimes family are from Cynthiana Kentucky in the books. I am not sure if that is ever mentioned in the show, off the top of my head. You even showed the clip of Rick saying heading to Atlanta on highway 85, which is coming from the north of Atlanta, while you traced Highway 47.

When Carol left Alexandia, didn't see travel west? And didn't Rick tell Morgan that Daryl, Sasha and Abe kill so saviors on the road to the east of Alexandria?

I stopped watching the show around season 7-8 because of all the terrible writing and filler episodes that I just did not give a flying fuck about. But this video encapsulates the main story-arch well and it's actually pretty interesting when it's not surrounded by so much boring filler.

All of this could have been avoided had they not traveled 3 states away from home. Imagine traveling days worth just to get everyone slaughtered by other people that you claimed you wouldn't kill since season 1 or killed by zombies because you decided to camp around 20 major cities.

Does anyone still buy into the theory that Breaking Bad is in the same Universe as TWD? My theory is that Walt's Blue Sky drug was getting cut and "copied" by less talented cooks and that played a part in the outbreak.

I'm thinking you all fail to forget that this is not our world , as I mean in Earth Prime if you get that reference? In our world we know what zombies are and have for more than a century. These people do not know what zombies are so they are not from our world. That means this is an alternate world we are discussing about. Their world could have different topography , naming and locations. I hope that gives you a better understanding of where things are?

I went to Senioa, Georgia and found it funny that Alexandria is ten feet away from Newbury in real life.

living less than an hour away from the real alexandria in manassas i can tell you guys there is nowhere in that area that is that wooded lol

See, this helped, cause there’s smthn that always bothered me: Rick was at his home town, then went to Atlanta, then went to the camp, then they had to run and they went along some HUGE highway and ended up at that horde, then they went EVEN FARTHER and ended up at the farm, then they ran form that and kept running for nearly a year, throughout the whole winter, and they finally found the prison. Makes sense so far, but then, when looking for weapons, Rick/Michonne/Carl are suddenly back at Rick and carls home town? How far did they travel during the near year time skip? Not long apparently.

This was pretty cool. I couldn’t imagine traveling through several states in an apocalypse. I live in SE MI… if anything happened like this, I’d either stay put or head to the UP, where there’s not a lot of people. Surrounded by fresh water, lots of vehicles, lots of natural resources (fish, deer, rabbits, vegetation…). There’s a reason why the Native Nations were able to hold Michigan for a lot longer than many other places. There’s advantages to being an inland peninsula.😊 There’s also several small islands that would be relatively easy to get to as well. Yeah… I’m weird as is my family. 😂

I think aside from the writers making genuine mistakes/errors in terms of locations, I also feel they deliberately try to keep distances from place to place and exact locations kinda vague so they can move characters around at will without people being able to say “how did character x get to location Y in z amount of time to help the group” etc they fudge things a lot (too much) and it annoys me. I feel that aspect of the world building in the WD has always been very poor. I love a game of thrones or Lord of the rings type map that helps you fully understand the layout of the world and grounds the drama a lot more.

I live in the DMV, you cant get from Alexandria to Oceanside without crossing the Wilson bridge into Maryland or any of the bridges spanning the Potomac. The Wilson bridge is one of two major spans connecting VA and MD. It would be more practical for the group to cross here since it puts you in southern Maryland which is closer to where Oceanside would be. Thats a huge distance in real life and they would've needed a sturdy boat to cross the Potomac river. Oceanside looks like its in the Chesapeake Beach. MD area. 😂
